Hey all you beautiful and talented artists!

I thought I'd just update to tell you what I'm up to. Obviously, I'm still in college and I'm finishing up my second year. If anyone is curious, I've established my major to be Computer Science. Thus, you can understand my absence lol. I'm actually behind on a couple of programs @_@...just one or two, haha.

Surprisingly, my career (Game Design) does not require outstanding artistic ability (although you still need a decent amount). This serves as both a relief and a disappointment. It eliminates all pressure of having to be the "best artist" but at the same time diminishes my incentive to improve. I, however, will not let this happen

I am still drawing and will always draw. Unfortunately, my current gallery does not display most of my improvement. A lot of those pieces are abandoned pieces I finally finished or just old. Despite that, I promise you that I will be updating soon! You see, I've begun to draw on larger canvases to attend to detail and I refuse to snapshot these pieces with a camera so I'll be showing my newer creations when I hook up my new scanner. I hope you all like them!

So I haven't been on deviantart in forever. Lol, I'm horrible. No one misses me anything though HAHA!

      So I'm graduating from high school in a couple weeks. I'm so excited! Plus I'm on the best vacation ever and it hasn't even started <3 But I'm so scared which college expenses. You know, usually someone should be afraid of leaving home, not the money part. Oh well, I live in the Boogie Down in a recession lol. Oh well, SLEEPOVER AT 's HOUSE!!! While I'm on that subject, I am very uncomfortable with the fact my parents ARE comfortable with me sleeping over her house when I'm a dude. I mean we've known each other since we were kids, but that still baffles me. GOD FORBID I want to sleep over some other girls house though lol. I guess it works that way. I like they trust me though :] I've earned that trust :]

     *Ahem* So that got personal...lol. WAY off topic. Anyway, back to art. I've been working with my art teacher (or I should say mentor because he teaches me NOTHING, we all do hands-on work with the skills we already have) on some of his pieces and my pieces. I've done a LOT of art, do not be fooled by my page. I've just been too lazy to update. I learned to ink better, clean up lines digitally, etc and I must say it has helped a LOT watching and working with him. I love that guy, I wish he was my dad <3 But yes, I shall upload my new ones soon.

     I might open comissions this summer. Maybe. See what I can do and get anything in return :] Currently requested one from :iconeggdings: because my friend wouldn't stop talking about commissions and I must admit...I'm kinda excited. Especially since eggdings is such a good artist.

    So I'm not going to say much, as about three people will read this. I just wanted to update because I hate my page looking like I abandoned it...which I kinda did.

Hello, hello. I look new, but I'm not. You may previously have known me by "Joshboy1230". I abandoned that account to start fresh. Get rid of the awful middle school art forever.

So I've been on this since 6th grade. Man...did I do badly back then. As you can probably tell, my focus is Japanese animation. The art really consumes me...it always have.

Now, I am a 16 year old young man. I developed a very large appreciation for art over the years....what I can do now it's just...amazing. I'm no professional, but when I look at some of my drawings I'm amazed....This is why I joined again.

What will you be seeing from me? Photography, anime drawings, and maybe some cosplay. Oh and of course friendliness. :]

Do not be a stranger, and don't be afraid to critique. I take criticism very well, it's made me the mediocre artist I am today. Just don't be an idiot with it like "this sucks, gtfo n00b. gb2/gaia/josh". Let's be adults here.
